Volunteering
"I really want to help. I'd love to do some volunteering. But I just
don't have a whole lot of time. What can I do if I've only got ..."
If
you've got some time ... even just a little time ...
there are lots of ways to make a
difference in the world! Even if it is only 15-30 minutes,
think about how much we could do if everybody gave that much time.
Here are a few things you can accomplish in 15-30 minutes:

Make
photocopies/grade a test/cut, laminate and more for your child's teacher

Help a
student find a book at the book fair
-
Help
serve coffee at brown bag breakfast
-
One spouse
helps at carnival for 30 minutes while the other corrals the
kiddos

Go into the library
to assist any young students in taking an A.R. Quiz anytime
from 7:15-7:40. For questions contact Maribeth Jacobson. |

Look in the workroom for
copies that teacher's need. Follow instructions given by
the teacher and leave the copies in his/her mailbox in the
workroom. It usually only takes a few minutes to
complete a teacher's request. |

Bag Breakfast |

A tradition at Deer Creek,
Brown Bag Breakfast is a great way to start the morning with your
child. It is open to Moms, Dads, grandfathers,
uncles, older brother can come too! We could use
volunteers to help serve coffee and
juice, or help with set up and/or clean up.

Book
Fair |

The book fair offers something for all levels of readers as
well as pens, posters and software. Volunteers are
needed to help promote, set up the book fair, close the book
fair, help students find books. Any amount of time
contributed is appreciated. Remember, many hooves make

Carnival/ Family Night |

We will
be needing volunteers to help with several misc. Carnival
games, serving food and drinks in concessions and helping out
with the Book Fair on it's last day! Please contact at

Moms, Dads, Teenage Siblings, Grandparents, anyone who is in a
Deer Creek child's life is more than welcome to donate their time.
And remember,
we appreciate your time, even if it is only 15-30 minutes
